Halloween Costumes part 2

In part 1, I talked about the pros of commercial costumes. Lots of pros. But, if you prefer to support handmade artists, and get something truly unique, then you can always turn to online sites like Etsy, Trendy Indie, Art Fire... Here is Etsy's Halloween costume suggested guide, and then you can go and narrow down your search more by entering more search options.

Here are some goodies I came up with. You can spend a pretty penny on a lot of these and others are more affordable. You can purchase full costumes and provide your own accessories, or you can make your own costume and buy accessories. Use your creativity and have fun! As you can see, I prefer unscary things... but there are plenty of scary stuff too, besides anything with a bit of bruise and bloody make-up can be a zombie.

What a great assortment of costumes you have compiled! The top one wavers from I am I good or am I bad?
very cool...

Hi Lisa, Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind words about the death of my brother. I appreciate it.

You are very creative. I'm enjoying your blog--reading about your precious family and your talents.

The costumes are gorgeous. They've come a long way since the days of witches and goblins. Ha....

Hugs,
Betsy

These customes are very original. Last Halloween party I dressed as Robin Hood, but this time I want something different. I recommend to take generic viagra on Halloween because it gives you much energy.

You know, some of those dresses would go well with jewellery. Calgary has these awesome custom jewellery story which sells bling that would certainly fit those dresses. I love the unicorn and the metallic leather ballgown! Can I use those pictures as references for my next Halloween project? I know it's too early to plan for it, but I'm that kind of person. Haha! I'll be browsing for stuff in one of those jewellery stores Calgary has to see if I can find something that would fit those. Anyway, thanks for sharing the pics!
