I loved the movie Pollyanna when I was a girl. I was always astounded by the prism wall of the crotchety old man, and how Pollyanna used those magnificent little crystals to bring warmth to that bitter old soul.
Well, I'm not particularly bitter, or crotchety or a man... but I do feel like I am an old soul at times.
When the sun is at it's peak, we see thousands of little silver lights, and rainbow prisms dancing across the ceiling, floor and walls.
My son asks me to make the sparkles dance, so I lightly tap the blinds and off they go! One day, our whole window will be full of prisms, and the whole wall full of sparkly sprinkles.
What lovely antique glass bottles !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful memory, I too recall reading Pollyanna when I was just a girl and remembered the part where she placed all those crystal prisms where they could reflect the sunlight's spectrum. It was a great book about a girl with a marvelously optimistic attitude.
I love your display, particularly your antique bottles. It looks like such a warm day in your sunny window!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Love the bottles.
ReplyDeleteYour comment about John Stamos totally made me LOL. And I NEVER say LOL.
Gorgeous Lisa! Love your display and I'm sure it's gorgeous when the sun is hitting all of those beautiful prisms!
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs,

I have lots of sparklies hanging from my eaves outside my windows, inside my windows and in my car. I just love the way they flash rainbows through out my home and car. Wonderful blog, friendly comments, thanks for the inspiration.
